Max Martin Fisher (July 15, – March 3, ) was an American businessman and philanthropist, and presidential advisor. I am also involved in polymer testing, and development of our automation pipeline- a fancy word meaning I try to convince the robots to handle cells for me.
Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, and these communities that I belong to frequently are not. I also make YouTube videos as a hobby, talking about disability, science, queerness, and druidry. Outside of science, I am a druid, bookworm, and Stardew Valley enth usiast.

I work in the lab growing cells for use in research and innovation for a nanomedicine company. The awards are an obvious highlight, for sure. Talk about a cliffhanger. Our role model this month is Max Fisher RSci. It is impossible to pick just gay e highlight! Max is a DeafBlind, Disabled and Genderqueer multi-award winning scientist. In February, the day after LGBTQ, STEM, and You, I was delighted to deliver a second keynote speech for Bedford’s LGBT+ History Month event.
I got my first hearing aids maxand I am currently learning BSL. My Deaf group chat has been a life saver! How is he going to make it out of this one?. I became a wheelchair user towards the end of my studies, and I often found that wheelchair accessible seats were at the back of the lecture hall, when I really needed to be at the front so I could see the lecturer better.

Being selected to lead a global disability employee resource group ERG in a former role was definitely a highlight- I got to show that I can bring my advocacy into the workplace, and have it be a part of my job.
Her words legitimized the fight against the disease at a time when it was considered to be "gay cancer," and something that should not be talked about. I was born hearing, and at some point along the way I slowly started losing my hearing. Getting into my field WAS the biggest challenge.
Studying with an undiagnosed hearing loss is incredibly difficult! Prejudice is, unfortunately, alive and well. Max Fisher was four years old when his mother spoke out about AIDS at the Republican National Convention. Plenty of people are shocked when I hold my white cane and tell them I am a scientist.
I was unemployed for 3 and a half years after my graduation due to prejudice in the recruitment field. I came to the community later in life. You guys are not actually gay. I literally made it to the sleepover. They advocate for inclusion in the STEM field and for LGBTQIA+ rights.
